Beginning in 1991, Lonnie and Barbara helped pioneer a church in Northwest Indiana, starting with approximately thirty-five people. After six-years, eleven hundred were in attendance. In 1996 he obeyed the call of the Lord, resigned his position with the church and founded Lonnie Jarvis Ministries, which is dedicated to taking the gospel to the nations of the world. Evangelist Jarvis has an earned Doctor of Theology degree in religious education.
